A north-east soft play centre could be turned into a hot yoga studio, if new plans are approved.
Aberdeen Bikram Yoga has lodged a change of use application with the city council for a unit at Berryden Retail Park.
It is currently occupied by Little Monsters, which was formerly KC Kangaroos.
Under the plans, the soft play area would be removed from the facility and replaced with changing rooms and a studio.
It would also require a “hot room with bespoke heating exchange system,” as the type of yoga proposed requires high temperatures.
Notes in the application from a senior city planner state they would “prefer” the unit to be used for a shop, but acknowledge it is already being used for a non-retail purpose.
They added that there is plenty parking available and have “no problem” with the proposal.
