Emergency services responded to the incident that happened at on the road between Boyndie and Banff around 9.35am. Two fire appliances were deployed, from Banff and Portsoy, alongside ambulance crew and police. A police spokeswoman said: “Police attended to a crash on a layby on A98 between Boyndie and Banff at 9.35am involving a woman and her car. “The woman was treated by paramedics and has been taken to hospital for an injury to her foot.”
