A Newtonhill woman has written a short E-book filled with fun ideas for coping with the coronavirus lockdown.
Helen McGeorge, 23, has put together her new digital publication, “A Helping Hand While Staying At Home”, in order to help people figure out how to occupy themselves while staying safe and help raise money for the NHS and the Trussell Trust food bank charity.
Miss McGeorge said 80% of the profits will be donated to the two good causes for the month of April.
The e-book is full of information such as recipes to try, ideas for arts and craft activities, puzzles, wordsearches, quizzes and more for both children and grown-ups alike, as well as a list of useful helplines.
The 23-year-old author has also committed to donating a copy of the e-book for free to someone that needs it for every person that purchases and downloads a copy.
She said: “I wanted to do something to help people and also raise money for charity.
“There’s lots of ideas in the e-book for things to do during the lockdown, indoor things like baking, or outdoor ideas, like popping up a tent and going camping if you have a garden.”
The e-book costs a minimum of £5.99 and can be bought by visiting the website www.payhip.com/b/dWY2.
