The 42-year-old man was charged in connection with a break in and theft from a car in the Rosemount area of the city. This relates to two alleged offences, one in the Richmond Terrace area and the other from Westburn Road, both Aberdeen. It is understood to have been a low value of items supposedly taken from a car. The arrest was confirmed by officers from the city centre community policing team.
