An Aberdeen foodbank has received a generous donation from a youth support charity.
The Includem outfit has donated £500 to help see the Community Food Initiatives North East (CFine) through the increased demand created by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Includem chief executive, Martin Dorchester, took action after learning that foodbanks nationwide are struggling.
He said: “Demand for foodbanks is higher than ever at the moment but many are really struggling due to the restrictions placed on people’s movements
“We know what a vital service they provide for families and young people and we wanted to do something to help them continue to provide this support.”
The youth charity, which helps around 300 young people all over the country, is also currently helping 10 other charities.
