Children at a north-east primary school have created a music video to show their support for the NHS.
Rosehearty Primary pupils – also known as the Rosehearty Ravers – have made a music video to the song Sunshine After the Rain as their way of saying thanks to the NHS.
The post said: “We’re maybe not at school, but Rosehearty School have something to say….”
The video is not for profit and was made “just to say a thank you and raise some smiles”.
Following the success of the video, head teacher at Rosehearty Primary School, Mike Taylor said he’s “very proud to be part of this community of fantastic learners, families and staff”.
Mr Taylor said: “We’ve always said we’re a school at the heart of the community – pardon the pun – and between our two villages (New Aberdour and Rosehearty) we wanted to do something to help the Covid-19 efforts.
The best thing that we can offer whilst working from home and maintaining social distancing is to put a big smile on as many faces as possible, and share a message of thanks to our wonderful NHS staff and local carers.”
It’s hoped the video will “reach as many NHS workers as possible.” Mr Taylor said: “Like the song says – we can’t wait to see the sunshine after the rain as this storm will pass.”
