A music and movement group for babies and pre-school children is holding a virtural fundraiser for a north-east animal sanctuary.
Jo Jingles Peterhead will stage the event on Saturday at 10.30am to help “raise as much as possible” for Willows.
The farm-themed class will be broadcast on Facebook Live and “anybody is welcome to join”.
Owner of Jo Jingles Peterhead, Kaitlin Wallace, said: “A lot of our members will have visited the sanctuary.
“Right now its is relying on donations from the public to help look after the animals and this is our way of showing our support for a north-east charity.”
As grandparents often accompany youngsters to their classes, Miss Wallace hopes the Facebook event may help them feel connected amidst lockdown.
The class is free to join via the Jo Jingles Peterhead Facebook page “but those who can” are encouraged to make a donation to the Just Giving page.
Miss Wallace had originally hoped hoped to hold a fundraiser at the sanctuary this summer.
It’s hoped this will still go ahead “when safe to do so”.
Donations can be made online at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/jojinglespeterheadwillows.
