A north-east training facility is preparing to restart operations and open its doors again next month.
Epit Group offers courses and assessments for electrical and instrumentation technicians, but had closed to protect people from the spread of coronavirus.
Now the Bucksburn-based company has announced it is planning to resume business from Monday, June 1, having implemented a range of new safety measures.
This includes staggering course times to minimise large gatherings, checking delegates’ temperatures upon arrival and providing face masks to all in attendance.
The firm is also reducing attendee numbers and spacing out tables in classrooms and seating areas to ensure social distancing regulations are adhered to.
A statement on its website said: “We are currently planning for a safe reopening of the Epit training facility on Monday, June 1, after risk assessing all of our courses and implementing the necessary measures in line with government recommendations.
“Our primary focus remains on the safety of our delegates and staff, therefore we have upgraded our centre and will be changing the way in which we deliver training to prevent further spread of Covid-19.”
