Aberdeen projects are being encouraged to apply for a share of a community fund.
The Co-op Local Community Fund has supported 1,093 causes in the city over the past three years.
And the business is now targeting its funding at organisations working towards community wellbeing such as food banks, green spaces, groups improving mental and physical health or those building community resilience.
Co-op’s Rebecca Birkbeck said: “The Co-op Local Community Fund supports grass-roots projects across the UK that our members care about.
“We want to help communities come together, cooperate and have a positive impact on community wellbeing, both physically and virtually.
“I would urge any group that feels it fits our criteria to apply for funding. We know they need a funding boost now more than ever.”
The closing date for applications is June 28 and businesses can find out more at causes.coop.co.uk.
Successful applicants will be informed by the end of October and will thereafter be part of the fund for the next 12 months.
Funding will be provided in two instalments, in April and November next year.
