Trails and stunt biker Joe Urquhart has showed off his skills by posting his latest trick online.
Taking advantage of the lockdown restrictions, and that Union Street is partially closed, the 21-year-old attempted to manual from Union Terrace to Market Street.
The impressive wheelie, that requires no pedalling, was filmed on Tuesday evening and took two hours to perfect after coming close on many occasions.
Mr Urquhart said: “I was eager to attempt the stunt because the city centre was deserted and the fog provided an eerie atmosphere which added to the ghost town effect that lockdown has caused.
“The idea came about when myself and a friend were going for a typical evening ride, we normally go from point to point where there are walls, railings and various other street furniture we can hop onto or gap from one to the other.
“Essentially parkour but on a trials bike.”
Taking the internet by storm, the video has been watched more than 2,000 times since being uploaded to Facebook and Instagram.
The Clan Cycle Stunt Team performer, who has been riding for six years, said it was great getting back in the saddle: “I had put the bike away for the foreseeable future due to the lockdown, that is until exercise restrictions were eased.”
Mr Urquhart made headlines last summer after performing a number of tricks at the disused Tarlair Pool near Macduff.
Over three days of filming in June, the biker performed the stunts all around the pool, including on top of buildings previously used as the changing rooms and cafe.
