A new challenge has been set up for north-east sport enthusiasts missing out on their usual group bike rides.
Live Life Aberdeen’s virtual cycling event will start on Monday.
Participants can set their own target distance, record their daily cycle rides over a seven-day period and see how their efforts have compared to others.
It has been organised by the leisure organisation’s events team, which is usually responsible for setting up the likes of local triathlons and the Great Inverurie Bike Ride.
A spokesman said: “Whether you’re a competitive cyclist or a complete beginner, it’s designed to help give you some motivation or a training opportunity for any events on the horizon.
“You can even work as a team to meet a challenge you set yourselves and have some fun doing it.”
