A major north-east road will be down to one lane for the next two weeks while resurfacing work is carried out.
Traffic restrictions will be in place on the A92 Aberdeen to Stonehaven road, just south of Portlethen, for the £210,000 works.
Improvements will be made to the road surface on the southbound section of the A92 between the Portlethen and Durris junction.
Work is being carried out between 7.30pm-6.30am daily and is due to be finished by July 25.
A 10mph convoy system will be in place between Portlethen and Durris junctions during working hours, and a lane closure will remain in place on the southbound carriageway outwith the working hours until Sunday.
The junction between the A92 and Bruntland Road will also remain closed throughout the duration of the works. A diversion will be signposted.
Andy Thompson, from Bear Scotland, said: “This £210,000 investment from Transport Scotland will greatly improve and strengthen this section of the A92, as well as create a smoother and safer journey for motorists.
“We’ve taken steps to minimise disruption for motorists as much as possible during the improvements, including carrying out the works under a convoy traffic management system overnight.
“We thank motorists for their patience in advance while our teams carry out these essential improvements on the A92.”
