Security camera images have been released as police continue searching for an armed robber who targeted an Aberdeen shop worker.
A man threatened the 35-year-old woman with a blade then stole her handbag within L&M stores on Hutcheon Street at 3am on Thursday, July 2.
While she was “extremely shocked” by the incident, she was let unhurt.
Police searching for the suspect have now released CCTV images from within the premises.
They say the man pictured may be able to help with their investigation.
He is wearing a grey tracksuit top and trousers with a black stripe down the outside of the thing, as well as a black beanie hat, white face mask and black gloves.
Police say he appears to have a tattoo on his neck and a piercing in his left ear.
Detective Constable Kelly Green, of Aberdeen CID, said: “I would urge the man in the image, anyone who may recognise him, or anyone who has any information, to contact police as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information is asked to telephone officers on 1010, quoting reference 0387 of July 2.
