Three new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in the north and north-east in the past 24 hours.
The latest figures from the Scottish Government show there have been 20 new confirmed positive cases across the country and there have been no registered deaths in the last 24 hours.
A regional breakdown of the figures shows there has been one new case recorded in the Grampian area and two in the Highlands in the past 24 hours. The region’s total number of positive cases sits at 1,442 and 381 people respectively.
There are 30 people with coronavirus are in hospital in Grampian, up by one since midnight. And there are less than five in the Highlands.
There have been no new cases in the islands.
The islands’ total positive cases since the pandemic began remains at 54 for Shetland, nine on Orkney and seven in the Western Isles.
A total of 337,519 people in Scotland have been tested through NHS Scotland labs and UK Government Labs to date with results showing 318,999 being confirmed negative while 18,520 were positive.
As of midnight a total of 278 were being treated in hospital, with two in intensive care with confirmed Covid-19.
Since March 5, 4,146 patients have been discharged from hospital.
Scotland’s death toll remains at 2,491.
