A north-east college has announced it will increase support for students receiving exam results this week.
An “expanded” service has been launched to allow prospective students at North East Scotland College (NesCol) easy access to staff through live chat, e-mail and phone about courses due to start next month.
NesCol, which has campuses in Aberdeen and Fraserburgh, said advisers will be made available to answer general queries and talk prospective students through the application process.
A dedicated clearing hotline will be available on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am-3pm on 01244 612301, while academic staff will also answer course-specific queries from Thursday.
Principal Neil Cowie said: “As a college we will do all we can to provide support, advice and a friendly voice of reassurance.
“We want to help everyone find their place with us and there are a vast range of options open to all.”
