A developer has lodged plans to further expand a housing scheme on the outskirts of Aberdeen.
Cala Homes has submitted documents to Aberdeen City Council outlining aims to create 85 properties as the third phase of its Oldfold Village in Milltimber.
Situated to the north of North Deeside Road and east of Binghill Road, the site is named after Oldfold Farm – with the development’s inspiration taken from the former farmhouse, stables, mill and riding centre there.
More than 100 families already live in the development.
Once complete, Oldfold Village will have 550 homes, a new primary school and shops.
Oldfold Village phase 2 aerial – CALA HomesRoss Maclennan, land director for the firm, said: “We have submitted plans for the third phase of our Oldfold Village development, another major milestone in delivering 550 new homes in Milltimber.
“The first two phases have been extremely popular and it is wonderful to see the development already becoming a neighbourhood.”
