Rush hour motorists faced lengthy delays following a spate of incidents on the A90 Aberdeen to Ellon road.
Motorists faced delays at the Haudagain Roundabout, when a lorry and two cars collided just after 9am today.
The accident happened next to the KFC take-away restaurant, North Anderson Drive.
No one was injured, however the vehicles remained at the scene for some time until they were recovered.
Meanwhile, the northbound lane of The Parkway at Bridge of Don was closed given repairs to a water main which burst on Friday night.
The lane remained closed to ensure the road surface was set after repair work.
A spokesman for Scottish Water said: “We received reports of a burst water main on Friday evening on The Parkway at Bridge of Don, just after a roundabout on the northbound section.
“The repair was carried out on Friday night, and we awaited traffic management to be put in place for a lane closure.
“The road surface was reinstated yesterday and it requires some time for the surface to cure before it can be re-opened.
“The road is now fully repaired and reopened as of 1pm. We apologise for any inconvenience to local commuters as a result of this urgent repair work.”
Elsewhere, a car broke down on the northbound lane of North Anderson Drive near Murdo’s just before 9am.
