Image: DC Thomson. A lorry blaze is causing problems for motorists on the A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road near Kintore. The broken down vehicle, which is on the southbound carriageway near the Kintore roundabout, caught fire around 11.10am. Firefighters from Aberdeen and Inverurie attended, along with police officers, and the fire was extinguished shortly after. Smoke in the area is still causing visibility issues for road users, and drivers are urged to be careful. Police said nobody was injured in the incident.
