Aberdeenshire Council’s customer service points in Inverurie and Peterhead have reopened.
People are now able to use Gordon House in Inverurie and Buchan House in Peterhead again, initially be available on a part-time basis, for payments and to validate documents.
Those wishing to make an appointment for a 15-minute slot should call 03456 08 12 02.
Access will be restricted to two customers at any time, and no more than two people per household.
Customers who provide an e-mail address will receive confirmation detailing their appointment date and time and the arrangements for when they arrive, and those without an e-mail will be given the information over the phone.
Customer services service manager Michelle Milne said: “The majority of services can now be accessed online or by phone but we do appreciate some of our customers wish to make payments or need to have documents verified in person.
“We’re opening Inverurie and Peterhead initially and expect to open more locations in the coming weeks. We would like to thank all our customers for their patience over the past few months.”
People have also been reminded to wear a mask and requested to arrive on time and wait outside a door before being signalled into the building.
