A section of the busy King Street in Aberdeen has been closed to traffic this morning as accident investigators probe a fatal collision last week.
Police Scotland are carrying out inquiries relating to the death of Karen Gillanders, who was hit by a lorry on May 26.
The 41-year-old was on her way to work as a charity shop volunteer when the accident, involving a white Volvo articulated lorry, happened at about 9.10am.
Police have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
A city council spokeswoman said King Street would be shut between Regent Walk and University Road from 10am to 11am.
An alternative route for northbound vehicles will be available via Linksfield Road, Golf Road and Regent Walk. An alternative route for southbound vehicles will be available via Golf Road, Regent Walk and Linksfield Road.
