Drugs recovered after police seal off Aberdeen street

Police have recovered drugs from a property in Aberdeen city centre.

Officers sealed off Hollybank Place, in the Hardgate area, for more than an hour after receiving reports of a suspicious item at about 11.20am.

They later confirmed a quantity of Class B drugs had been seized.

A police spokesman said: “Inquiries have established that there is no danger to the public.

“A quantity of Class B drugs has been recovered and further inquiries are ongoing.”
