A former dairy in Macduff could be demolished and replaced with four new family homes, if planners give the proposals their backing.
Banff developer Carraig Homes hopes to do away with two old brick dairy sheds behind 74 Duff Street and build semi-detached houses there instead.
The dairy, vacant for a number of years, lies on the corner of Garden Street and Duff Street and once demolished a new dead-end access road will be built to the side of the plot.
Elgin-based GP Waypoint Design has submitted plans to Aberdeenshire Council planners for the two blocks.
Each will be two-storey, offering what have been described as three-bedroom, traditional family homes.
The firm said the plans would address the “ruinous and dangerous state of the former dairy facility”.
The application will go before the local authority’s planning department in the coming weeks.
