A series of virtual events has been organised to support bereaved parents during this year’s Baby Loss Awareness Week.
From October 9-15, people who have been affected from across the country will come together to commemorate their children’s lives.
As part of this, north-east charity Miscarriage Information Support Service (Miss) has arranged a number of activities for people to attend virtually from their homes.
This includes a daily live video from local author and meditation coach Susi McWilliam, who will guide people through the five cycles of grief, including mindfulness and self-compassion.
On Thursday, October 15, Miss will be encouraging people to join other families across the world in lighting a candle at 7pm to remember babies who have died too soon.
