A woman has been taken to hospital following a two-car crash in Aberdeen.
Emergency services were called to Wellington Road this morning.
The southbound carriageway of Wellington Road, between the junction of Balnagask Road, and Girdleness Road was shut for about two hours.
Police, ambulance and fire crews all attended the scene with the road closed to allow for recovery of the vehicles.
A woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The extent of her injuries are not known.
A police spokesman said: “Around 9.45am on Monday, 28 September, emergency services were called to Wellington Road in Aberdeen, following a two-vehicle crash.
“One woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
“The southbound carriageway was closed to allow for recovery to take place and reopened at around 11.25am.”
A fire spokeswoman added: “We were called out to a crash between two motor vehicles.
“No one was trapped and we made the vehicles safe.”
