Participants in a north-east sports festival aimed at older people were given the chance to hold a famous trophy yesterday.
The Scottish Open golf trophy was brought to the Kings Link course in Aberdeen to enable men taking part in Golden Games sessions to get a closer look.
The Scottish Open is being held at the nearby Royal Aberdeen course next month.
The popular Golden Games, which is aimed at those aged 65 and over, is now in its fourth year and is being held this week.
The event is a partnership between Aberdeen City Council, Sport Aberdeen, Aberdeen Sports Village and NHS Grampian, and features more than 40 free sports.
