A sheriff has told a young Aberdeen man he is “sailing very close to the wind” after he narrowly avoided a custodial sentence.
Jack Hulse, of Tullos Place, previously pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supplying of a controlled drug.
Charges against the 20-year-old, represented by solicitor Alex Burn, said he had been involved in dealing heroin and cocaine at a flat on Urquhart Road between June 30 and July 11 this year.
Sheriff Philp Mann warned Hulse that if he continued this behaviour and kept dealing in drugs it was highly likely that he would end up being sent to jail.
He was made subject to a community payback order with supervision for 18-months and ordered to carry out 90 hours of unpaid work.
Sheriff Mann also placed Hulse on a restriction of liberty order for 18-weeks between the hours of 7pm and 7am.
