A further 43 people in the north and north-east have tested positive for coronavirus.
The latest figures from the Scottish Government show 32 people in Grampian and 11 people in NHS Highland’s area have tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The total number of positive cases for NHS Grampian since the pandemic began is now 3,218.
In the Highlands, the new Covid-19 cases take the north’s total to 994.
There have been no new cases recorded in the islands. The total positive cases for Orkney, Western Isles and Shetland remain at 31, 68 and 66 respectively.
Across Scotland, there have been 1,122 new coronavirus cases reported in the last 24 hours.
A total of 1,52 people are in hospital after recently testing positive for the virus and 90 are in intensive care.
One Covid-19-linked death has been recorded in the past 24 hours. Scotland’s death toll is now 2,701.
Since the start of the outbreak, a total of 953,664 people in Scotland have been tested at least once. Of these people, 57,874 have tested positive and 895,790 were confirmed negative.
