The 45-year-old had been cycling on Arbeadie Road, in Banchory, when the incident happened at around 12.30pm. An ambulance spokesman confirmed she had suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident, which is said not to have involved other vehicles. It is thought that the cyclist put on her brakes too sharply and went over the handlebars.
