A 22-year-old man is due to appear in court today after £26,000 worth of heroin was seized from the Aberdeen’s prestigious King’s Gate area.
The haul was discovered yesterday.
Detective Chief Inspector Alex Dowall said officers would take “all possible steps” to stop those involved in drug crime.
“This recent operation has resulted in the removal of a substantial quantity of controlled drugs from our streets and seeks as a reminder to those involved in this type of crime that we will take all possible steps to disrupt their activities,” he said.
“We are committed to keeping people safe and I would like to thank those members of our community who have assisted us.”
The man will appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court later today.
