A man has appeared in court in connection with the seizure of £26,000 worth of heroin in Aberdeen.
Lee Nicol, of Aberdeen, made no plea or declaration when he appeared in private at the city’s sheriff court today.
The 22-year-old’s case was committed for further examination and he was released on bail.
It comes after a haul of drugs was found in the prestigious King’s Gate area on Wednesday.
Detective Chief Inspector Alex Dowall said officers would take “all possible steps” to stop those involved in drug crime.
“This recent operation has resulted in the removal of a substantial quantity of controlled drugs from our streets and seeks as a reminder to those involved in this type of crime that we will take all possible steps to disrupt their activities,” he said.
“We are committed to keeping people safe and I would like to thank those members of our community who have assisted us.”
