A 37-year-old man is set to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today charged with breaking into a house.
The alleged incident took place in the city on Monday.
He will also appear in connection with an attempted housebreaking.
Detective Chief Inspector David Hadden said: “Housebreaking can be one of the most distressing crimes and it is positive news that a man has been reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with recent housebreaking and attempted housebreaking in the city.
“It is thanks to the dedicated work of officers along with assistance from the public that this outcome has been achieved.”
