A litter pick will be held in Aberdeen this weekend as part of a national campaign to make Scotland the cleanest country in Europe.
Clean Up Scotland, led by charity Keep Scotland Beautiful, is aiming to get a million people to do their part this year.
More than 2,600 people in Aberdeen have already signed up for the campaign, with more than 40 community clean-ups held so far this year involving about 2,000 adults and 600 children.
The next event will be held tomorrow in Powis, with Aberdeen City Council supplying litter-picking equipment and a refuse vehicle. The group will meet outside Powis Community Centre, and the event will run from 10am-2pm.
