Large blue letters saying “Vote Yes” were also spray painted across the side of a house in the west end of the city. The Ashley Road attacks happened some time between 5pm on Thursday and 6am on Friday. Yesterday police confirmed officers were investigating after a number of walls and pavements were left strewn with graffiti. Investigating officer, PC Neil Simpson, said: “We’d be keen to speak to anybody who saw anything at that time to contact us.” Anyone with information can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
