The head-on crash happened at the junction between Urquhart Road and Roslin Street, near King Street, at around 3.45pm. The woman, said to be in her late-70s, was taken to ARI with chest pain. Police said the incident had been “nothing serious” and required no road closures. An ambulance spokesman said: “We treated an elderly female who was in one of the cars, the other driver is alright. We got the call at 2.50pm.” One of the cars involved in the collision was a silver Nissan Micra.
