The incident happened on Union Street near Bridge Street, at around 8.30pm on March 12. Constable Paul Smith, who is investigating the attack, said the man many be able to provide information that can assist with the investigation. He is described as being white, between 5ft 8 and 6ft tall, in his early 30s with short, brown hair and facial hair. He was dressed in casual clothing and spoke with a local accent. Constable Smith said: “I would urge members of the public who may recognise the man in the image to contact us.” Anyone who may recognise the man should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.
