The motorist w 20 to 40 years old. He is around 5ft 8in, with short brown hair and was wearing a grey t-shirt. He was driving a new model, white Vauxhall Corsa with a spoiler on the back. The assault on the 51-year-old cyclist happened at the roundabout junction of School Road and King Street, at around 8.40pm on Saturday. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
