Billy Connolly fans queue for tickets to Aberdeen show

Hundreds of Billy Connolly fans queued round the Aberedeen Music Hall today to buy tickets for his September show.

The venue’s online ticketing service also crashed briefly after being overwhelmed with requests from buyers over the internet.

Billy Connolly is to kick-off his new High Horse Tour in Aberdeen in September.

The legendary comedian will do two nights at Aberdeen’s Music Hall on Monday and Tuesday, September 29 and 30 before going on to Perth, Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow.

Tickets went on sale at 9.30am this morning.
