Police are appealing for information after a motorist fled the scene of a two car crash in Aberdeenshire at the weekend.
The accident happened at around 7.45pm on Saturday at the junction of the A947 Aberdeen-Banff and the B977 Dyce-Hatton of Fintray roads, near the former railway bridge.
Officers last night revealed a man driving a blue Citroen C3 failed to stop.
A police spokesman said: “The vehicle would have headed westbound on the B977 towards Fintray.”
No one in the other vehicle – a silver Ford S-Max – was injured.
Anyone with information about the incident or who saw the blue Citroen C3 should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
