A north-east management and marketing student has graduated at the top of her class.
Jennifer Brown, 21, from Fraserburgh, officially received her honours degree at yesterday’s ceremony, and has already secured herself a full-time job.
Ms Brown, who now lives in Aberdeen, said: “While I didn’t study business at school, I was interested in management and working in a corporate environment.
“The course at RGU was particularly appealing due to the placement year offered in the third year.
“Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed my course. The range of modules I have studied has meant that I have left with a broad understanding of business and management concepts while also being able to specialise in the area of marketing.”
Ms Brown graduated with a first – an achievement she described as the highlight of her education at Aberdeen Business School.
She has also secured herself a job as a logistics representative at EFC Group’s Altens headquarters, where she was based during her placement year.
On her time at RGU, she added: “The experience has been invaluable to me, both professionally and personally.
“While it has at times been challenging, I have found it very rewarding.”
