Thousands of pounds worth of garden machinery has been stolen after several sheds in the Banchory area were raided.
The sheds in the Corsee Road and Glassel areas have been targeted over the last month.
Police are appealing for information, but have also reminded homeowners to ensure their property is kept locked and secure.
St Thomas’s Church in Aboyne will hold an evening of praise on Sunday at 6pm.
There will be hymns for all to sing, as well as readings, solos, and performances by a quartet of singers and the St Thomas’s Augmented Choir. Light refreshments will be served afterwards. All welcome.
Visitors of all ages can learn about some of the smaller residents of Banchory’s Burnett Park next week.

The Grampian Region of Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club will hold their annual gathering and car show at Drum Castle next Sunday.
More than 50 exhibitors will show off their Jaguars and Daimlers, dating from the 50s to modern day, and there will also be pipe band music, a raffle and stalls. The event will run from noon-4pm.
Anyone interested in showing their car can turn up on the day before 11.30am, no pre-booking required.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to educational charity Aberdeenshire Life Education Centres (Alec).
