Four appliances were sent to Albert Street just after 10.40pm, and were joined by police around 20 minutes later. Six breathing apparatus were used, along with two hose reel jets. The fire service left the site when the stop message arrived just after midnight, while police remained at the scene until 2.50am. A police spokeswoman said: “Around 11pm on Wednesday, 3 March, we received a report of a fire at a property on Albert Street in Nairn. “Officers attended to assist colleagues at the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. “There does not appear to have been any suspicious circumstances.”
