Firefighters attended four incidents in Inverurie on Wednesday evening. The first involved a skip fire close to Inverurie Academy around 10.45pm. They then attended blazes at a wheelie bin in the High Street, a recycling bin near Westfield Gardens and a garage in Princes Street. A police spokeswoman confirmed: “We have one male in custody, and we are following a positive line of inquiry with regards to another suspect.” Anyone with information on the incidents should contact officers on 101.
