It is claimed the man – aged between 25 and 30 – refused to move from the ground after lying down in front of the HGV’s front wheel. Police were called to King Street just after 6pm and the man was arrested ten minutes later. The road was partially blocked, but has now re-opened. A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “We have charged a man, aged between 25 and 30, for a breach of the peace offence. “He is now in police custody.”
