A man has been taken to hospital after a collision in Aberdeen.
Firefighters used cutting gear to release the casualty from his vehicle after it collided with another car on Anderson Drive at the Westburn Road junction at 1.26pm.
The man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary however police said that his injuries are not thought to be life understood to be life-threatening.
A woman travelling in the same car was uninjured. The driver in the other vehicle was also unhurt.
Two lanes of the dual carriageway – one in each direction – were closed to allow emergency services to deal with the accident, which involved a Hyundai Getz and a Honda Civic.
The closure cause significant congestion to traffic in the area.
