A teenager is due to appear in court tomorrow after two high-powered cars were stolen in Aberdeen.
The 17-year-old boy has been charged after a white Lamborghini Gallardo and a black BMW X5 were stolen from the Mid Stocket area of the city in the early hours of Monday.
The Lamborghini has been recovered, but police are still hunting for the BMW – registration number SW63 HTC.
Officers are appealing for any information to help them trace it.
Detective Inspector Stewart Mackie said: “Tackling car crime remains a priority for us and we ask anyone who witnesses suspicious behaviour to contact us.
“I would also urge people to consider the security of their homes and especially during the summer months ensure that windows are shut and locked so as not to present access for opportunistic thieves.”
Anyone with information should call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
