An Aberdeen teenager was celebrating yesterday after achieving straight A’s for his Highers.
Hazlehead Academy pupil Alistair Frost scored top grades for English, maths, biology, physics and art, and is now considering what he might look to do in the future.
The 16-year-old, from the Craigiebuckler area, said: “I haven’t decided what I want to do, so that’s why I kept it broad.
“I’ll have a look over the rest of the summer to see, look at university prospectuses and things, see what there is. I’m in my fifth year so I’ll apply next year for uni.”
With his current results, Alistair looks set for an exciting time at university regardless of which subject he chooses to study.
He will now go back to school for his sixth year, but will have less pressure for next year’s exam results.
“Over the year there’s been quite a lot of work, but it pays off,” he said.
“Hopefully there will be a bit less pressure next year now.”
