Police launched a major investigation last summer after a number of thefts and attempts thefts at bank machines in Aberdeenshire. Earlier this year, detectives made a public appeal on Crimewatch for information about a man they were looking for in connection with the incidents. A 40-year-old man, from the Liverpool area, will appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today. Three other men have already been in court in connection with the alleged incidents. Bank machines in Inverurie, Oldmeldrum, Aberdeen, New Deer, Ellon and Stonehaven were targeted between September and mid-November last year.
