A cyclist has been taken to hospital with head injuries following an accident on the outskirts of Aberdeen.
Whitestripes Road was closed at 6pm while emergency services accessed the scene, one mile south of Foulcasey Brae.
The cause of the accident is not yet known, and the police have not said if the incident was the result of a road traffic collision.
A police spokesman said: “We have reopened that road now, we down-scaled the incident, we don’t believe it was anything that merits the road being closed now.
“We’re still investigating. The cyclist was taken to ARI for treatment.”
