Police are advising motorists to drive with extra care as the north-east continues to deal with flooding.
A number of roads remain closed with officers urging members of the public to be cautious and not congregate near to flooded places, especially riverbanks areas.
A Yellow Warning for rain remains in place for the north of mainland Scotland for the remainder of the day and updates are available from SEPA.
The A93 between Ballater and Braemar has re-opened and the Beach Esplanade in Aberdeen is also open.
Superintendent Andrew Todd said: “We’d like to remind people that there has been some disruption and road closures as a result of the weather conditions overnight and during the course of the day and to take this into consideration when they’re heading home.
“Make sure you listen to local radio travel reports and check road closures on the Traffic Scotland website.
“I’d like to thank everyone for their continued patience while we all deal with the issues that this adverse weather has caused.
“I’d also encourage them to keep an eye on the weather forecast and plan ahead for their journeys tomorrow accordingly.”
