Two fire engines were sent to the Clydesdale Bank on Union Street at around 2.30pm. A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the leak had now been stopped. It is believed to have been caused after a workman cut through a pipe. Fire crews are now testing the air quality.
